  • That new Geico commercial plays a song that reminds me of this.

  • Watching this show sure brings back memories.

  • thank god for the internet!

all i remembered from this show was the fact that i used to watch it all the time, the name l train, and the episode where l train thought he copyrighted his song be cause he copied the lyrics over rand over again haha.

typed "sitcom l train" in google and this is the first thing that came up.

  • And, even though this program was something of a beginning vehicle for Wesley Jonathan (who still hasn't gotten much work since then), I think the brother who played "Jamal Jenkins" on the now-classic PBS 90's hit, "Ghostwriter", should've gotten the job instead. I'm pretty sure that Marcella Lowery (0:40)--who obviously played 'Jamal Jenkins'' grandmother on "Ghostwriter"--made a suggestion for him to get that starring role on this show. If I remember correctly, his name is Sheldon Turnupspeed.

  • 0:37--Yankee Stadium R.I.P! 1998 World Champions!!!!!

Yeah...what a show that was. The show was truly like a "Saved by the Bell" for us New Yorkers (outer borough New Yorkers, more specifically). Scott Whyte...yeah, his name said it all, didn't it? :D And that cat who played "L-Train" was the fuckin' man! I knew dudes just like him in BK back in the 90's! Lol...

  • I miss the 90's
