E-Flite Blade 400: Low speed fun

This is just some late afternoon sport flying with my Blade 400 on a nice winter day in Austin TX. What makes it (slightly) interesting is that I'm doing all the flying at either 1900 rpm or 2500 rpm - a much lower headspeed than most think is needed for good performance. Does it work? You be the judge. :-)

thanks for the info, i thought it was a 401 gyro but wasn't sure as it was hard to see in the video.

It's got a Futaba GY401 and Hyperion DS09 digital servos.

nice, what gyro, servo's etc did you use with this as the stock gyro, servo's etc are not very good.

Interesting Comparison between the 2 Headspeeds. Regarding the Hyperion Servos DS09 Were they a drop in fit to the Blade 400 frame with no sanding or drilling?? Thanks

@solaris3000 Yep, they drop right in. In fact, since they are slightly thinner than the stock servos it's a bit easier to install the back two servos since they aren't so tightly packed in the openings.
