Our greed for palm oil, paper and wood products is exterminating ancient rainforest ecosystems along with the abundance of life it contained. We need to reforest not deforest. http://www.unep.org/billiontreecampaign/
Rainforests need to be shown that they are worth more alive, than dead.
In 1950 the forest cover of Indonesia was about 160 million hectares; today less than 48 million hectares are left. http://www.greenthefilm.com/?cat=49&lang=en
***DONATE*** As the film is given away free, please donate what you can afford to help Patrick help everyone save global rainforests.

DEFORESTATION OF INDONESIA IS MADE POSSIBLE BY :
THE COMPANIES BEHIND THE WOOD INDUSTRY AND OUR PASSIVITY
If we don't buy the products, those companies can't sell the products.
The consequences of our purchase from palm oil products (biofuel, toothpaste, biscuits, etc) to garden furniture, to plywood, to paper, all decide if species are exterminated or will survive.
See this extensive list of companies to question on there sourcing of products.

@UnMoneMeyeur It is not the human being it is the unequal economic system in the world. Do you have a solution to what kind of sources of income the people of Indonesia must focus on? They don't steal the natural habitats of the apes for fun.

What a shame to be a "human" being.
