@NickelbackPWNS All good, it's setup as a draw through system with carb before the blower so what happens at no load like idle, the throttle shut the blower just free wheels in manifold vacuum, it's actually reading 20psi vacuum. soon as the throttles cracked and engine put under a load it starts boosting. makes it a much simpler setup, just means it cant be intercooled, but water injection can fix that.

@BoostedVW sorry for all the comments, im just bored as hell. On every charged bug ive seen they've been at 0-1lb boost on the gauge, which means your supercharger is running around 20lbs slow.. unless you have it -setup a different way, the best way, like i said is to have the charger running at 0- 0.5 lbs at idle.

How do you have this setup? if you can message me some specs, carb size, stuff like that

Ha,ha. That sound like something Id do! Last time I bought a turbo'd 1641 and didnt have a car to put it in! My wife complained, and said Id need to get rid of something(s) around the house.... Im going to miss her! :)
Why isn't yours making the metallic tinking sounds like every other? o.o And don't tell me they don't. I have heard it on brand new superbeetles, old superbeetles, every superbeetle imaginable.

@punkmonkey123 WTF you talking about? they dont make brand new superbeetles and they were never supercharged either and no superchargers make tinking metallic noises unless they are broken. If you mean supercharger whine it did make it my crappy cell phone just didnt pick it up real well but you can still hear it

@BoostedVW I'm talking about when I was younger, ever superbeetle would make a tinking sound when idling.
I was amazed yours wasn't making it because it's not the supercharger that's the source of it.

@punkmonkey123 oh right sorry i get you now, its the design of the standard vw peashooter exhaust that gives them that classic cricket like chrip. ive got an aftermarket sports/header extractor system on mine so its lost that usual beetle note
