CRSC trackday in Alastaro 2009, logged with Racechrono

This video is a combination of incar footage and Racechrono data converted to video using racechrono2avi. Original incar video was taken with Nokia 5800 that served as a Racechrono logger also. Video was postprocessed with Avidemux, overlay was done with avisynth and was saved to container with virtualdub. Is that cool or what? Oh, the audio is removed intentionally - cam was on the car, not in and thus the audio was a mess ;-)

I used my phones internal gps receiver (Nokia 5800). I think it is 1hz, but not really sure. For more professional setup, I'd look up an external gps and use OBD channels too (if available in your vehicle). My setup was more like a proof of concept for my future setup :-)

What kind of gps reciever do you use? 5 hz?
