@WaterWelon it's 'cause the cake is a lie.

That is not voxel, it is a simple collection of title mesh with bulky texture.

@jawamachines ya thnx, i found that out later

@TheFlyingVideo 2.5-D can mean two different things, but neither definition would include this or Minecraft. 2.5-D originally meant games that run on a 2D engine, but let the player walk around in 3 dimensions, like 8/16-bit beatemups (TMNT, etc). More recently, 2.5-D has been used to describe games with a 3D engine but restrict you to 2D movements (NSMBW, etc). All the games you mentioned, though, are regular 3D games with 3D graphics, though most of them are voxel-based rather than polygonal.

@TAz69x isn't this polygonal, but with low-res-looking textures? Seems to me you'd need to have a TON of resolution for the round edges and rotating shapes to resolve this nicely with voxels. I guess an octree could resolve the curves, but to get the rotating stuff, you'd have to be constantly rebuilding the octree. Same deal with dynamic tetrahedral voxels...
As in the tags, it sounds like dockaych used Unity3D to make this.
