Wigan have the shitest fans EVER! My mate (whos a wigan fan) went to stamford bridge to see Chelsea V Wigan last season and he told me there were only about 36 away fans .. 36?!? I get more than that in my sunday league matches! R.F.C TILL I DIE!

@wiganeriam You're right - you sold your section of the ground, and to your credit, your fans made quite a lot of noise. Unfortunately, I remember the reverse fixture being poorly attended. In fact I seem to remember there were about 8000 odd there, 3500 of which were Reading supporters. Great memories of this game....legendary.

@00RobFather0 yeah but back then our fans where immense because we were in a proper division the premierships a load of shite fella. ask a reading fan how many wigan was there on that night i think it was 2,500/3k im pretty sure it was half of the stand behind the goal

Unbelievable game! To this day I can remember feeling the floor vibrate as we erupted for the goals, only time in 14 years of watching Reading that thats happened!
