Babies can't possible survive without their mother's milk. (unless you get the perscription milk) but its still really sad because the people dont get to see their babies

is it rilly necessary to chain someone to a bed while giving birth?? i doubt the mother is going to try to escape in that circumstance.

It may help if you research the programs a little more. Mother's must meet certain criteria to be accepted into the "baby dorms". The programs are also proving to be successful in keeping mother's from repeat offenses. The bond between a m other and child is incredibly powerful and when a woman is educated and supported through pregnancy, birth and motherhood, she very often produces children who fare better than she did.

@angelmom3950 calm down . i understand that chilren need there mothers . i just think that the babies should start out seeing the real world . thats my opinion . . if you feel that children should stay with there mothers in prision, thats youre choice . you have children , i dont . i dont know the feeling of having a child. im sorry if you feel offended by my opinion by the video.

@lpgurlnj Wild animals don't get shackled during birth, it just goes to show that our race is sadistic to our own kind when there's no need for it -_-

@Jill4ChrisRedfeild I know!!! Prison nowadays is so inhumane.

@billabob16 it's just wrong to seperate a mother from her child unless the child was in danger in the mother's care too. But that's just my opinion
This is crazy. I know that children need their mothers but eight children later and the bit*h doesn't learn!? I'm sorry but if you are smoking crack when you are pregnant and worry later if it will effect your baby, then you don't love them enough to raise them anyways. Plus, being a parent is a privledge, not a right. If you can't be trusted on the streets to do the right thing and keep a roof over your head, you dont get to raise your kid at all! Plain and simple.
