for all saying there goes all the fish in the ocean you couldnt be more wrong, this would have only been a small part of the ocean and i dont think you people realise how much ocean is out there, there is pleant more ocean than there is land, and it's simple if you dont like it, dont eat it... people have got to make a living, what you people dont realise that is you complain aabot catching fish, but every time you drive some where you are damaging the world from carbon monoxide from the exhaust

@jpap407 What good are natural resources if you can't harvest from them? The North Atlantic mackerel fishing of around 600.000 a year has been sustainable since the late 90s. Even ICES say so.
-
The North Atlantic fishery was managed by scientists and political policies. Thats why the biomass decreased 95% and my family is out of work for the first time in almost 400 years. Yes, you keep on trusting those scientists and politicians to make the right decision. No fishery collapse here folks. nothing to see. keep on walking . . .

well, there's one reason catches have been way down on previous years. i mean that for the sporting angler who fishes for his catch, not netting it. everyone has bills to pay, not all of us count our catch in metric tonnes. do us all a favor and go to the sea of cortez and hammer the humbolt squid for a while.

Vilken båt?

yeah and i bet you caught em all a quarter of a mile out at night , thanksd for leaving us fcuk all in the sea
Why are we allowing the rape and depletion of a public resource by those that feel it's their right to make a living? You want a noble profession? Teach

Norwegian mackerelqoutas are well-managed and kept within the limits set by the scientists of ICES. Therefore you need not worry about depletion.
