Then practice is the order of the day. German armed forces don't goose-step, but government allow its citizens to do so at various events like their shooting festivals. The German armed forces should reintroduce it, enough of the insane political correctness:-)

@jaxxx1975 und vor allem wie kommst du auf die annahme das es total billiger stoff wäre??? na klar das es kein extrem treurer stoff ist, ist ja auch massenproduktion und der stoff der nva war garantiert auch nicht erste sahne, ich sag bloss marode ddr wirtschaft^^ da wird die ddrführung bestimmt nicht unnötig geld für teuren stoff rausschmeißen, und wie gesagt der schnitt der uniformen der nva ab ca 1975 ist fast genauso wie der unserer uniformen

@jaxxx1975 also wegen dem schnitt, schau dir bitte die uniformen der nva ab ca 1975 an!! die haben fast den gleichen schnitt wie unsere jetztigen dienstuniformen mit langbinder etc

@DavBlc7 Another source said that the chinese train for one year if they have a major parade coming up, I think this is more accurate. I know for a fact and from my own experience that proper training for public military appearances takes ages, and there's just so much else that needs to be done in a modern combat or support unit.
