The cycle over the last million years: cold, cold, cold, cold, cold, warm. Cold, cold, cold, cold, cold, cold, warm. Et cetera for a total of six cycles. Who besides Al Gore greedily invested in "Carbon Credits", or dumb enough to suggest the next era after this current brief ..... warm ....is going to be ...... "even warmer". No, anytime in the next few thousand years we will have a quick massive drop in temps signaling the beginning of the New Ice Age.

It is a visualization of the Euro Ice coverage at the Last Glacial Maximum. The bottom of the last ice age from about 120,000 years ago until about 20,000 years ago. Then the present interglacial warm period began. We are in geological terms a brief respite between ice ages.
