  • If everybody sent a roll of toilet paper to congress with the message, "Use this and not the Constitution." It would fill up a good section of the Congressional Mailroom, and you know it would probably make it on to the TV news. Just wrap a roll in Plastic wrap with a label and it pro...bably won't cost more than a buck or two to make a very visual statement. facebook roll congress please paste and copy

  • LOL, sorry, I don't know why my comment got posted 4 times.

  • Thank you Ms. Slaughter for supporting the Public Option for health care and insurance reform!

  • Hard to believe she is 80 years old.

  • I am holding a 28th district meeting on this health care bill, on Thursday, September 03, at 7:00 PM.

    Call me for details: 585-964-5691

  • I support the healthcare bill. Including the public option. I would not benefit from a tax credit as I don't make enough to file taxes. There are a large amount of people who have the same Problem. The people i see at the town halls are most likely not in this category and don't see that this option would force Insurance companies to re-evaluate their fees and be forced to compete to supply services. This would BENEFIT the town hall people. pass drug reform and this bill.

  • The following is what I wanted to say:

Have you read and do you understand the entire H.R. 3200 Health Care Bill That You Are Promoting?

    And

Please explain, the two following sections in the bill:

TAXES ON INDIVIDUALS NOT OBTAINING ACCEPTABLE COVERAGE.—

EMPLOYMENT TAXES ON EMPLOYERS NOT PROVIDING ACCEPTABLE COVERAGE.—

EXCISE TAX ON FAILURES TO MEET CERTAIN HEALTH COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS.—

  • I signed up to be called on Louise Slaughter's phone call meeting for the HR 3200 Health Care Bill.

I was told that I would be called.

The phone meeting was scheduled to begin, almost 15 minute ago. Still, no phone call.
