Dont worry. Most CCTV systems record at 0.1MP and the quality is that bad, you wouldnt recognise yourself. In order for CCTV to be effective in the fight against crime, the old analogue systems need to give way to the new high definition digital multi-million pixel systems.

CCTV only helps solve the case. With light sentencing in the UK the criminal gets off with a caution or a small fine and just re-offends.
Of course the crime rate does not go down.

is cctv a good idea? it does not cut crime, just provides evidence that someone has done something. after all the only privacy that anyone has got is that inside their head. worst case scenario would be hidden cameras inside every single room of every single building of every single country!

so they can watch you shit lmao
