This is a video of the new S&S extreme ride at Mt. Olympus in the WI Dells. I rode it. It Rocks! Also video of the older Ultimate Rush sling shot ride at Riverview
@jbrollercoasters Well, my source is the Wikipedia page for Screamin' Swings, not what Mt. Olympus said. However, it is a page that does not cite any references, and may have taken their info from Mt. Olympus anyways. It does look a fair bit faster than most swings though, just eyeballing it.
@CaptainHollyShort Are you sure? Cause Mt. Olympus doesn't seem to know much about their own rides... they advertise Hades as going 70 mph when it only goes 60 and they also claim it's 160 feet tall with a 140 foot drop which isn't possible because the drop is longer than the height... it's really 140 feet tall with a 136 foot drop. But yeah... even if the speed is higher I wouldn't pay any money to go on something that I can get for free.
@jbrollercoasters There's a difference between this one and most Screamin' Swings. This goes to 75 mph, where most swings only hit 60. If the speed difference matters to you, obviously you ride this one. Even if it costs a little more. I know I'd like to try it.
@sasfry12 Um... you could've just driven like 4 hrs west to Valleyfair in MN and gone on the Xtreme Swing which is the same thing for free with your entrance fee which is only $38.
i just got back from hotel rome :D i didnt ride apollos swing however i rode that one with just the rope near pasidons rage.. also i rode the sky scaper which is enar downtown its like apollos swing however you do a complete circle, its taller, scarier, and $22 a person :D
