This position IS OK for babies OVER the age of 5MONTHS. As long as the baby has good head and back strength(baby can sit up on his/her own and is strong enough to hold him self up for long periods of time) this position is fine for short walks or short time spans, you will however want to switch positions so that the baby can rest it's head against you and have a break. DO NOT ever use this position for an over extended period of time as it can cause strain at the baby's crotch/hips.

This position is very bad for the child, for his back and his shoulders. The child's back has to be always making a "C", and the knees upper than the bottom, like a frog. You can only use a wrap with the child's face looking at you, or leant in your hip. You can use the wrap as a bakpack too, so the child will be in your back. But you can NEVER put the baby like this!
I did just read this, so this position is NOT recommended.
