Inauguration of the El Shaddai International House of Prayer

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo graced the inauguration of the El Shaddai International House of Prayer and celebrated with the 70th Birthday of El Shaddais Founder Bro. Mike Velarde in Amvel City Business Park, Paranaque City.

Bro. Mike Velarde and his wife, Belen Velarde, assisted President Arroyo in the ribbon cutting ceremony which was immediately followed by a Eucharistic mass.

The president stayed for more than two hours finishing the inaugural ceremonies and the mass led by His Eminence Ricardo Cardinal Vidal. In her short message, the president greeted Bro. Mike a happy birthday and wished him more years of good service to God and country.

The occasion had an estimated crowd of 25, 000 local and international El Shaddai members. Several government officials that included Senator Francis Chiz Escudero, Senator Jinggoy Estrada, Senator Loren Legarda, Deparment of Public Works and Highways Secretary Marianito Roque, Department of Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Lito Atienza, Mayor Sonny Belmonte and Former National Economic and Development Director Ralph Recto were also present in the event.

Hindi mahalaga kung sino sa dalawa ang mahusay at banal dahil sila ay parehas...kapatid na elfili77 nagbabasa ka pa naman ng Biblia pero kung humatol ka walang pakundangan para kang pariseyo sa templo na nagmamayabang sa Diyos at kinukutya ang kapatid na publikano sa labas...kapatid na rosanis hindi din dapat ganyan ang sinasabi mo. Naniniwala ako na hindi ganyan ang tinuturo ni Bro. Mike at Bro. Eli...sila ay parehas ipinagkaloob ng Diyos upang turuan tayo at hindi pag-awayin.

Hindi aq panig kaninu pa man...kung talagang may mga Diyos tayo at totoong sumusunod s kanya, hindi ba ang ginagawa ninyo at isang paghatol?...Hindi natin dapat husgahan si Bro. Mike o si Bro. Eli dhl hnd natin alam ang buong laman ng kanilang puso tanging ang Diyos lamang. Isang kwento sa Biblia ay ang kwento ni Maria Magdalena sabi ni Hesus "maunang bumato ang walang kasalanan"...sa ginagawa ninyo bumabato kayo para bang wala tayong kasalanan...

In religion, there is no such thing as "uto-uto". Obedience is the right term. Without it, the propagation of faith about the one true God won't prevail. Being obedient, you have to be trained in all ways as long as it won't infringe your right as a human being, as long as that won't hurt you. If in small ways you aren't obedient, how much more on greater things that require your willingness to follow and obey.

Di tayo dapat mag away away. may kanya kanya tayong paran ng pagsamba at pananalig sa Diyos. Pinakamaganda basahin natin ang Bibliya at alamin ang kalooban ng Diyos. Sure po ako na may kasagutan ang lahat ng hanap natin sa buhay. Di po kalooban ng Diyos ang mag away bagkus manalig tayo.
