Your story brings back memories. It was 35 years ago I bought my first Yamaha acoustic and was strumming along with beetle's tunes when I heard this song. Immediately I knew I had to learn it. So this is the song that turned me from a strummer to a finger picker. I now play dozens of S&G or any song that peeks my interests for neat guitar interplay. Hi, Mark. I think I got an email from you and that other person who posted his YouTube clip of same song, asking to connect. I rejected both, maybe I shouldn't have. I have had some sorrows over fake musicians (good musicians) I've known in my past, so am hesitant to connect with others who are amply gifted, subsequently. Try me again. I don't know this song but have performed in folk music venues since age 16, so know travis picking well.
