Some Libyans must have, but the majority hated him. I wonder how many of those people you see there cheering for Gaddafi did it out of loyalty. Gaddafi was a dictator who played on fear. If people are afraid they will support the dictator out of fear. But once that fear is gone, the revolution cannot be stopped.
