@lordmisanthrope1949 I agree, it is not bad as far as it goes (though I do think the organ sounds could be improved, perhaps a few more sounds like a positiv organ - 8', 4', 2'2/3 2' etc) but I can't help thinking that Roland stopped just short of what could really have been a very nice instrument indeed. C31 sounds like a good idea!

How do you (or anyone else) feel about the touch when using the fortepiano?

@lordmisanthrope1949 What they ought to design is a double-manual organ with the ability to disengage a harpsichord action. A harpsichord with pedal is not an unreasonable thing for the Baroque enthusiast to have; but the closest thing Roland offers is an organ inadequately pitched in C.

is the key size that of a piano or are the keys smaller like a harpsichord?
-
@Heikkiantila aa oke :) thank you !

Finally, it might be nice if they could have a second manual as changing registrations in a middle of a piece, has often been the practice of recording artists and those who play ensembles which require solos to be loud and accompaniment to be softer (Brandenburg Concerto No.5 of J,S Bach for example). Good instrument but Roland may want to consider working on a C-31 and complete the potential.

It's nice instrument but it's rather limiting. It's range is FF-F3 which is alright if you have no intentions of playing much Scarlatti and Soler but I do. Also, they should have reversed the colour of the keys. Last but not least, they should have included German and Italian harpsichord samples with also a 16" foot stop option.

Does this digital roland also have less keys than a real piano ?
Kind regards
