They cut the first portion of the theme shortly after it aired. People complained that it made them feel sad.

the show ended the year i was born, but things to dvd i can enjoy the amazing show

This is one of the few things that my dad and I shared a common interest in during my teen years. It gave us common ground when there was little of it.
