Sharks don't feed on people just to let you know they only do so when they really have nothing else to eat or because they confuse surfers with seals, which they do indeed eat. What?! It's natural!

I was doing a drift dive (scuba diving) out of Isla Mujeres, MX and was told by the dive master that we might run into some schools of trapon and to just swim in and among them if the opportunity arose. It did, and I did. They have no fear of humans and several of the tarpons were almost as big as myself. We were just drifting along bumping in the middle of this school of 50-75 tarpon One of my more favorite dives ever.
