What the hell, the barrel is like 1 inch diameter and the spud didnt go far. What fuel are you using? Mine goes like 500 feet and it's so much louder.

I've also had the best results with propane.

The best fuel by far is propane. You have to make sure there is O2 in there as well or the propane wont ignite. try it...the propane doesnt leave any residue because it is a gas and you will be impressed with the bang you get.

my best fuel so far has been Static Guard. ive used right guard and Axe but i always go back to the Static Guard. No residue, no problem, no seeing the potato for another 1/4 mile.

hairspray or right guard is convenient but propane leaves zero residue and is my favorite by far.

yah i have white rain also it works great it blew the back of my gun off twice and broke my friends finger once...ill post a video soon.

yeah, white rain is probably the best, i have a can i bought, its huge, and it was at the dollar store. But, i built a special mini spud gun for spit wads, and i find that 3 drips of iso alcohol 91 is better, and can be used for 2 whole rounds.

The best fuel that i've found was a half and half mixture of, 91% rubbing alcohol and tiki torch fluid. A lot better than AXE or hairspray. its not sticky, its oily, but it does smoke a whole lot.

Soaking the taters works well too.
