Link below is a screenshot with auto-tune settings. It's also small like the video. For any specific #'s, leave a comment.

  • I recorded something on another program, but every time I try to import it it says it is corrupt or not a supported file, I have it in an mp3 format, should that work? If not, what extension should I use/how do you import your own files?

  • @TheAleciamantei

I record all my files in WAV lossless studio quality. But mp3 would work too. I would need more details as to why it won't import. Such as the program that was used & if the recordings are accompanied by extention files.

I would just use the same program from start to finish, then when you want to start a new project, just use Mixcraft for the entire process.

  • can you tell me what autotune settings you were using? i couldnt see very well, thanks! :)

  • @rawr, I posted a link in the description for a little bit better detailed screenshot of the auto-tune settings. If it's still unreadable, comment again with your question.

  • @beef054904 Yeah i see, thanks a lot, do you have AIM or something so we can talk? I have some questions.

  • @rawr, No problem. Just inbox me your questions & i will respond there, alright?

  • what file extension do you use?

  • Thanks for your tips. I use Mixcraft and have just posted my first songs. Always more to learn though, thanks!

  • @youngblackjesus14, I don't use a vst to clarify the quality. That all comes from having a decent mic. I used a logitec USB rockband mic for this which works wonders for a reasonably cheap price to start off with music.

  • @CrankCase08, Sparky the Magic Piano was a vocoder. & second of all, i didn't turn the auto-tune effect down so that it could be heard for the learning purpose. After all, this is a tutorial, so i exaggerated it.

  • It sounds like Sparky the Magic Piano. God I hate that extreme autotune effect, so unnatural.

  • thx works great :-) g from denmark

  • how do you get it so clear what vst effects do use

  • dang dude. nice. thanks
