As I recall from an old interview Alan didn't want children. It's true there aren't many male celebs who don't have children, Alan among them. Chances are that if Rima had tried to tie him down they would not still be together all these years later.

In an age where 90% of celeb actors 50 and older and almost 100% of the male celeb Rock stars think they have to have a girl young enough to be their granddaughter on their arm and in their bed there really is a man like Alan Rickman still left in the business who loves and is actually FAITHFUL to a woman who is his age and no beauty by the standards of today's fashion gives me just one more reason to ADORE THIS MAN!!!
