The Gentle Barn - Animal and People Sanctuary

The Gentle Barn is located in Santa Clarita, California. They're a non-profit animal rescue and they also help "at risk" kids. It's a great place to go on the weekends. All they ask for is a $5 donation per person to help take care of the animals. You can also bring carrots and apples to feed them yourself. You can find out more by going to http://www.gentlebarn.org/ or visiting them during open hours, Sundays 10-2 - if it's not raining. This is my home video with my family.

Animals have meaning beyond human self interest. To say an animal's life has meaning only if "serving" humans for breeding and eating, it's incredibly selfish and arrogant. I'm sure a human woman would appreciate being impregnated over and over, her baby taken away, her milk stolen, all for human consumption. "Consume" is such an ugly word. connecting with these animals gives us a deeper meaning in our own lives, and a peace inside when that connection causes something to click in your head, an

@exitre in my opinion they're helping people now by all the good work they help the Gentle Barn do: work with at risk and special needs children and helping them learn about animals and themselves by being with them. So, in that way, these animals lives have plenty of meaning.

This organization has nothing to do with abused animals! It has everything to do with a tactic being employed by homosexual activist groups! They are using animals and children in a incremental way of winning the culture war!

these animals should be kept for human consumption and use or breeding for conumption and use. Horses/donkeys should be trained and used and their life will have meaning
