I conducted an experiment on the famously traumatizing scene in Aronofsky's film by removing most of its external information - leaving the characters to their own devices...sort of representational of my subjective take on dreaming. I then sampled sound elements from this scene and recomposed the score to hopefully alter the viewing experience.

  • It bothers me reading these comments. You all haven't grasped the meaning of the movie. I'll let you just sit here and come up with some more bull. Let it be a mystery cause I'm not wasting my time telling you all.

  • @lisemafise1 Why thank you. I'm flattered.

  • @ninjastalker92 The infantility is overwhelming !

  • @lisemafise1 Welcome to the internet, where people are asses. Also, your opinion sucks.

  • @ninjastalker92 I didn't complain about the story of the movie, I just expressed my opinion. No reason to such an ass...

  • @itwasme356 Because they worked in the prison.... That's why they asked. When it comes to that mentally disabled thing, i used the wrong verb, I meant BECAME, she became a vegtable after the failed electrical shock treatment. In the last scene of the movie, it's pretty clear that Sara is locked inside her own head, where she keeps reliving her dream, where she could show the World her successful son.

  • lol

  • On The Internet No one Knows You're a Cat

  • @lisemafise1 i think your the one who's mentally disabled if you think sara is mentally disabled, and i'm not entirely sure but i don't think harry goes to jail because in the last scenes you see him amputated on a stretcher, though he is asked if he's well to work and he says no...

  • @lisemafise1 Well, yeah. That's pretty much the point of the movie. It's not supposed to be some happy little joy ride to the candy store. It's called "Requiem for a Dream" for a reason. It's made to be fucked up and make you feel sick.
