  • Why don't I believe in a god? It's not because I'm narrow minded, far from it.

There is just no evidence available other than centruries old books filled with contradictions and unbelievable stories.

Why did I first believe? I was raised in a Christian family - I didn't know any better.

Show an atheist solid proof of a god, and they will believe it exists. Right now, there is no evidence and therefore no reason to believe.

  • Its interesting, I always see the highest rated comments on these kinds of video on Youtube being Atheistic in nature, and yet we only make up a teeny tiny fraction of the worlds population...Somethings gotta give. Time to come out of the closet, brothers and sisters, the world has lived under the dogmas of ancient books of mysticism for FAR too long.

  • @tipoomaster Not that it would matter to us in our lifetimes, but religion is losing its hold. A mere 2 century comparision [today and 1800s] is enough. Religion will be an esoteric orthodoxy by the end of the 23rd century.

  • @DishrackDarwin Cool story bro.

  • @DishrackDarwin Cool story bro.

  • How did i know when this said Monty Python Edition that Dawkins would be Cleese and haggard would be Palin?

  • I know I'll sound crazy but all books were just written by people including scientific ones that give evidence.

  • @siromaxa Please share. If you have solid proof, you may change a lot of minds here on Youtube. I have no problem admitting that there could possibly be a "god" but it would never be in any such form described by any book written by man as we have no way of knowing about its true nature. What reason at that point do I have to believe such a god exists? I have no way of knowing its name, its intentions, what it wants me to do or if it even does exist. Why believe in it without any knowledge?
