I used to think that the Keystone Pipeline was a good idea. But after watching a Ted Video on the Keystone pipeline, I understand why Obama rejected it and I agree with him 100%. If you let a foreign company use eminent domain to set up this pipeline, then dont call yourself a real American. This is especially true if they are not even going to guarantee we get any of this oil.Watch Cspan please. Watch the hearings that are going on now. I just listened to a rep from Illinois say that we probably wont get any oil. He said that prices of oil should go down because more oil will go on the world market. But thats not how it works, thanks to Opec

There is no shortage of oil in texas.If we get so much oil from canada then build a damn refinery in the north.They havent built a new refinery for 50 years in order to keep the price of gas high.There is oil everywhere, it's in ohio, indiana everywhere.

The anti-outsourcing bill didn't penalize companies for outsourcing. It merely suggest that Federal funds and tax-exemptions should not be granted to companies for those jobs which they create in other countries. Which is totally logical. No other country in the world pays its companies to outsource.

(not to mention foreign companies will pour in money to GOP lobbiest in fear that their GNPs will shrink).
