  • I'm not 100% sure that filtering at that speed is the right thing to do here. Keeping up with the traffic is one thing, overtaking when there is space is another but here you risked pinching twice imo.

Hope you dont think I'm getting at you, just speaking from bitter experience. You have developed very well as a cyclist though and this vid shows good sprint potential.

  • Downfader, Your probs right, but I was on fire, the other wide of me doing the same was much safer, the only thing I will say is that there was more room than the camera shows, but I take your comments on board.

Im hoping in another 5/6 stone to still have the brutial power I have now, only with a better power to weight ratio, then I want to see what I can do on the track.

  • I was scared just watching that clip!

  • But Why :D

  • I know, I was GUTTED :D

  • ok whats the deal with the squiggly lines? what do they mean?

  • Man you crazy!

  • Nice speed,I know this road, its downhill from the lights then it flattens a little then goes down a little again at the 'm'' building... You can get a real good momentum going here if the lights are in your favour

  • I know the feeling, the adrenalin kicks in and its such a buzz. I take your point about camera angles, mine distorts distance quite well,LOL.

If by the track you mean velodrome go for it! Why wait. :-D I would do velodrome stuff myself but its 20 quid a session :-( oh and its an 18 mile ride to get there LOL!

Have you tried gentle weight lifting yet? When I return home from work on the bike I do a 30 minute gentle weights session. It helps out the upper body somewhat.

  • Could have kept that speed up if you just jumped them lights......... ;)
