There was a new update on 3. may; Chris has just released new portals. They cost 625energy each and can only be purchased by beta members.

how the hell do u use them? ive been building them but haveing no idea how!!! Also do you need beta to be able to use them or is it for free to use to?

Its in Beta test, but should be released for non-beta players soon...

@PowderGameTelevision ok so umm first you need to have atleat 2 portals... you can buy them from the enrgey shop 4 free! n then you click on the portal block on ur lvl, and for example- you put Id of portal- 1 and then ID of target Portal- 2 and thats how 2 work it... otherwise what u can do is experiment with prtals thats how I learnt it :)
