Iraq Christmas! Christmas is Declared Official Holiday in Iraq

Awesome news!! The Iraqi Government declared Christmas an official holiday for the first time in history. Many Christians are being persecuted in Iraq and many have fled, continue praying for Peace in Iraq and the freedom for people to worship freely.

Obviously you are not a Christian and don't understand what Chistmas is.Not being a Christian,you wouldn't understand the importance of being able to have freedom to worship as you wish.Living under a dictator would be fine with you as long as YOUR wife,mother,daughter were left alone by the 'police' And as long as you were one of the ones lucky enough to be given a job and maybe some food for your starving kids. But, you wouldn't get that - because things were fine and didn't need to be changed

I agree! I am so disgusted with liberals griping about Christianity oppressing women, or complaining that men and women aren't recognized as being the same--even when everybody recognizes our equal VALUE--and then they pander to these violent Muslims! I think the reason feminists and other liberals don't say anything about Muslims brutally killing women is because that's a right-wing thing and kind-of defends Christianity. That's why they scrape up every excuse in the book for their silence.

Other thing I MUST say-Bush clearly,repeatedly made speeches regarding prolonged period it would take to deal with the Baathist regime and post-Sadddam turmoil. The US actually helped Saddam for a while before he finally became the barbarian he and his sons were well-known to be within Iraq. The US's involvement was partly to go in and destroy a monster they helped create, and to keep the Middle East from becoming even more unstable, which it has been many years. Man i betcha now that they are able to have Christmas as an offical holiday in Iraq all the killing & bloodshed was worth it right.I mean that little Iraqi boy or girl who's parents was murdered or killed in a bombing is sooo happy now. I mean I bet you that woman who had to carry the body of her life-less son from the streets as streams of blood flows down his is thrilled & dont forget that baby who keeps on crying out for mama not knowing shes dead.. but Santa Claus is comin so its all good
