    Mine was at 7mm when it was changed. But it was a 2 for 1 day sale, meaning that i also had to have the aorta valve changed on April 28, 2010. All is fine with me, i hope the same is with you.

  • i have just been diagnosed with this . i wish it said what size the aorta was so i woud know if it was the size of mine of close to it.

  • The colours represent the direction and velocity of the blood flow - toward the transducer which is located at the smallest point of the pie-shaped window (top of screen) the colour should be red and away from it should be blue. To know if the flow is abnormal you need to know what direction is should be going within the heart.

  • Hello, can you explain the meaning of the colors? I see blue, red but what does it means? Just for curiosity Thanks ^_^
