Steampunk Jewelry - Moving Movements

Just one of my new moving steampunk jewelry pieces I've created. It doesn't take much to get the gears to spin on this piece, but it doesn't reflect all the work I did to get it to work so easily :D

when the main gear is moved you can see the other 3 gears in this piece spin. This pocketwatch was in terrible condition. It was likely made in the early 1900's and is sometimes called a "finger plate" watch.

@ElginPocketwatch ok... you totally missed the point of the sarcasm. read the description again and rethink what you just said. this was made out a pocket watch that was in such pore condition it was a challenge to even get the gears to turn. but instead of throwing it in the trash (where they probably found it) they fixed it up and put it around neck because they appreciated the inner workings of the watch so much that the saw it as a work of art in itself.

@jmegrl17 thats an antique swiss movement, keywind. about 1880's or so. what it was intended for has now been taken away and made into a useless piece of brass. you're a fool if you think a watch like that was could be bought for 99 cents. idiot.
