You mean the factory workers who get paid not to work? The ones who get 95% of their salary for the rest of their lives if their factory closes? The ones who piled on threats and strikes when the Big 3 first saw this crisis coming? The ones whose union sucked the Big 3 dry for benefits that add over $2000 to the cost of EACH VEHICLE when the same costs for Toyota amount to $200 per vehicle?

They tried that but it overheated and destroyed the prototype so they used a different one. I think it was a modified Gallardo V10 engine they used in the end.

I meant more socialistic instead of most, my apolygies for that. As a comparison. See Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands, Finland, all score higher on the HDI. And all are more socialistic/left-wing than the USA.

The poorest 'suburbs' of the Netherlands looks like a rich neighbourhoud in comparison with for example Detroit, where houses are sold for a 1000 dollars because nobody wants to live there.

Not saying pure socialism is best, just saying that it couldn't hurt the US to go more left.

first of all not one socialist country scored higher on the HDI than the us. second they may have the lowest unemployment rates in urban areas,but in rural areas the people live in absolute poverty. as for murder rates taking away the peoples right to defend themselves makes murderers think less about the dangers to them,and if they are caught the socialist correction system does not follow through with capital punishment and they usually get out in 5 years anyway.

I don't think he knows what a socialist economy is. Based on what he stated before saying socialist. It's funny, I am sure most of the people who are so opposed to socialism are the same ones hoping the gov't helps out the "Broke 3". Then they will still whine about him beiing a so-called "socialist". You just can'twin with some people. If this were a pure-capitalist economy then we'd all be dead right now, the ones posting on YouTube, I mean.
