@lohisc given a choice, a husky will gladly sleep outside in the cold rather than inside. mine have to be coaxed inside at night, (and sometimes carried) cos they don't always want to come in.

@lohisc I have huskeys and they sleep outside in -30celsius and more during the winters. they just have a place that they can go inside to and get shelter from the winds and stuff if they want to. also it got some hay in it so if they want they can cuddle in it and it gets warmer

Good video, it really captures the moment of him/her taking it all in, must be nice to be in his/her natural environment

@lohisc I promise winters aren't something you have to worry about with Siberian Huskies. They are built to endure very cold weather. So long as he is acclimated to it, has adequate shelter, is fed a healthy diet and has plenty of fresh water he will be fine outside. I don't keep my dogs outside so they aren't as acclimated to extreme weather, but Storm has never been cold. She does get too hot very easily though. The heat in the summer is what you have to be careful of.

@lohisc Also if you've never had a Siberian Husky before please do some research and make sure the pen you keep him in is built like a prison yard because they are very talented escape artists. Make sure he gets well socialized and tons of exercise (build up to it, don't hurt growing bones or cause injury by overdoing it, also running around a yard is not adequate exercise). I don't like dogs on chains, but sometimes it's the only way to keep a Siberian Husky home. Have fun with him!
