i use the other R....it is 8.21 right?

Both values for R are effectively the same.
The value of R I give you is 0.0821 (L*atm/mol * K) which works if your P is in atmospheres and V is in liters.
The 8.314 value for R works for the SI units for P is in kilopascals and V is in liters.
If you try using dimensional analysis, converting the P from atm to kPa or the other way around, you'll end up with the same value for both.

Im studying for finals and i had a quick Q, in my text book it says R=8.31 (L*kPa)/(K*mol) why are these two different if R remains the same?
