  • what a useless piece of shit!!! i feel bad for the people that wasted money in building this half assed harvester. we harvest 13 rows at a time and go 3 miles an hour doing it. this piece of junk is good for a laugh though.

  • 6 row but slow :P

  • if you had 20 people on six rows it would be more efficent

  • Looks good charles, you got the new shed up and started production again?I am now on a Grimme SF1700GTS,hell of a machine,400acres no probs....

  • is there a bit of a punch up going on here looking at harvester i think it a good consept bit big for devon lanes though.

  • United States Patent 20040035594

  • :The invention relates to a harvester for harvesting a root crop, and more in particular for harvesting potatoes. For that purpose, the root crop and attached soil material is guided towards a rotating helically shaped conveyor track (4). This conveyor track (4) is provided with sieve openings, which remove attached soil material from the root crop during transportation. Preferably, the helically shaped conveyor track is made of synthetic tubing or rods, which can be bought on a roll.

  • I've no idea who matty0124 is. Certainly nothing to do with my company or family; indeed not an attitude I would condone from anyone.

  • dear charlie pad, I take it from your name what all that may mean. I have to say I disliked the crowing attitude displayed on utube, getting the details from a friens seed grower in scotland. every appearance was given of a cocky little shit crowing about how clever he was, the comment about "i will still be harvesting six rows whilst you are on two" showing the attitide from an employed operator getting a bit big for his boots. I am from a similiar end of spectrum as you; name from collection

  • matty0124 was not the operator. I was, It did indeed 'go up in smoke' after a six month build. I can only hope that someone that displays such schadenfreude has a similarly colossal disaster befall them. I wouldn't buy a Tectron for a number of reasons, principally that it dosen't work, but also because it's instability renders it unusable on all but the flattest fields. The Psix, although now blackened, did actually function as advertised.
