My Morning Jacket performing a beautiful version of "The Bear" at Bonnaroo 2006. Sends shivers down me spine. That's Mr. Andrew Bird blessing our ears with the violin that you hear. Enjoy! (Filmed by the lovely Jessica Haynes. Thankssss!)

  • I would have to disagree with you. Evil Urges is the sound of an evolving band. I have been a fan of MMJ for quite some time now and can tell you honestly that they are not overproduced at all and can still rock taboot. I guess you didn't see them on their last tour then?

A band that is an example of being overproduced and selling out is Kings of Leon.

  • this is the night i discovered mmj. i was wandering back to my tent when i heard them off in the distance. it was like a bug to light, it was a religious experience. so unbearably beautiful, pun intended.

  • @joowan1 HIPSTER ALERT

  • EU sucks. The End.

  • @Liamisamom TRUTH. every album mmj has is flawless

  • Just saw this, and this was the night I discovered them too. Amazing.

  • Great show in Charleston last month ! They've won me over as my favorite band. Can't get enough of MMJ

  • I think My Morning Jacket is one of the most amazing bands of our current day...Ignore people and their silly opinions man...Or lady....I love both versions of MMJ....And I agree with you...People will forever call bands sellouts and overproduced once they become more popular....It's bound to happen...

  • What is the definition of "over produced" crap as many are refrering My Morning Jacket to? I have been listening to them for about 6 years and in my mind their quality has just gone up. There is a difference between better musical recording quality and "over produced" crap. If you listen to Tennesse Fire you can tell it is a fairly low budget cut. Now you listen to Evil Urges and you can see they are recording with a lot better quipment and probably a lot better producers. The passion is there.

  • I hope they never break up, I have to see them live.
