Hey friends,
This is my first cover with my new Tama Starclassic Performer. It took a little longer than expected because i didn't like the sound of the toms. So i took the drumheads (Evans EC2 Clear) from my old Pearl-drumset and put them on the Tama. Only the 18" Floortom has the still the original Evans Genera G2 head that came with the kit.
I hope you like it and there are many more covers to come!

Those toms sound freakin awesome!! I would suggest lowering the volume of the snare just a tad though. awesome job though dude keep it up

Sounding nice!
I especially like the tomsound. Did you use dampening rings? Any special equalizing? (as in: removed some tones at some spots, cranked up a bit for bass+attack) ?

Yes, i use dampening rings on toms. Further i turn down the frequenties between 100 and 1000 hrz and turn the high tones (above 10000 hrtz) up for more attack.
