Reclaiming the Blade Sword Demonstration

This clip is of Western & Eastern sword demonstrations sponsored by Galatia Films to promote the DVD release of the film documentary "Reclaiming the Blade" at Barnes & Noble book stores. Performances included an ARMA demonstration by Reel Swords (Columbia, SC) & a Batto Do demonstration by Thomas Urso of Asian Sword Arts of South Carolina (Clemson, SC). Mr. Urso is not only the SC state rep for both the World Kum Do Association & All Japan Goshindo Federation, but also is a cast member of the film. Daniel McNicoll, director & writer for RTB, is also seen in this clip discussing the film & future movie promotions.

Excuse me, why is this demonstration referred to as an ARMA demonstration when no ARMA members are present or giving the demonstration? The Association for Renaissance Marial Arts did not put on this presentation.

The gentleman demonstrating Western swordsmanship in this clip stated that he is an ARMA member from Columbia, SC ,so I assume that his membership is valid. I am the other person demonstrating battodo & am not a member of ARMA. The demo was an educational & fun event made to promote the retail release of "Reclaiming the Blade" at Barnes & Noble bookstores. So, Galatia Films sponsored this presentation, not any particular sword organization.
