Ari, Markku Allen (very deared in Portugal) and Miki Biasion. My rally idols. Those were the days. Real driving, no electronic aids.
It was an awsome save indeed dude. The co-pilot made me lol: "wooow...dear god" :P

yeah you're right that was real driving. incredible driver but bear in mind these driving aids they have now are designed to make the car even faster, not to make it easier to drive.

Probably. The "buzzing bees" had 600+ bhp to cope on tarmac, snow and gravel with nothing more than "rudimentary" suspension, crappy tires and no ABS, TCS or WTFS to help them. And they rided fast on those things. Ence my deep respect to them. Now, it´s very hard, of course, but less hard than on those days.
