  • you can play just about anything you want on any instrument you want. let no one tell you otherwise. it may require some set-up work, and while it may be easier on a boutique type bass, where extra attention was paid to details and set up, a boxed squire starter bass can do just as much as any comparable bass [by which i mean basses with similar features, number of frets, etc].

aside from that, ibanez makes great instruments. what kind of bass do you have?

  • BUDDA PLAYING BASS?!?!?!?!?!

srry, it was the first thing that came in mind...

  • @scrEMOhoLic044 well that's a silly comment to make. i personally did not like any of the marcus sigs i've played, nor the one i owned. i thought it was over-weight, sluggish and two of the ones i've played [including the one i owned] had bad frets; rough edges, not level, etc.

my original point still stands, regardless of whether you caught it: it's the player, not the bass- and CERTAINLY not the brand. the instrument is the tool. it's about what you do with it. understand?

  • @intrepgun hey, that's a Fender Marcus Miller Signature.. i bet ibanez basses can't match that..
