A good piano sound indeed, I have a Yamaha Motif XS and I personally like this sound more than the XS preset pianos. Also the M3 sequencer seems nicer for me. At some point I may sell my Motif XS and get a M3 instead

this tutorial is a very detailed one, even explaining and 'teaching' me AND also showing REAL-time examples of some of the effects & controllers.
it's the kind of video that I'm looking for.

Do I have to keep the usb plugged in if i want to use the expansion

It only needs to be plugged in while the M3 is starting up, or when loading PCM libraries from MEDIA mode. After that, the sounds are stored in the sampling RAM. You can always hot-swap USB drives if you need to load different content.
