@Araga686 -- A properly designed single shaft / swan-neck sulky lifts up on the shaft because the driver's weight is aft of the balance point. I can sit down on my sulky with someone holding the shaft, but if they let go I will flip over backwards. This kind of design can be used with horses as well, but it's especially important for a dog because dogs cannot take the weight on the back like a horse can.

How on earth did you manage to make that cart without putting too much pressure on their backs or having the whole cart tip over despite only having two wheels?
