uhm am pretty sure the person who created the show is muslim and based it on her experience....if anything this show humanizes the one dimensional personification of islam in western media(e.g. the people who are shown on cnn)....

guys lets just appreciate this show AS IT IS instead of trying to turn it into a religious debate (Gosh can't us muslims have a sense of humor?) This show isn't about how Muslims Should be, it's about how they Are, HUMAN. and humans have affection for one another and often display that, what's the big deal? This is the first episode I'm seeing, and I love this show.
