The new Regis & Kelly theme Song for 2009

This is the theme song that i created for the Regis and Kelly theme song search contest. The video imagery belongs to the live with regis and kelly but the theme was all created by me. Yes that means that wonderful music in the background is my work. rate and comment.

And regard to the fact that they have the right to use the song at will now, I don't recall the rules stating that you no longer have ownership to it. It's just that they will be free to use the music as they see fit in the future...which isn't what a composer wants to hear. But if you want to play, you have to play by their rules, I suppose.

i still have the right to use the track but it is one of the worst things to hear when you are told that your work can be used by someone else w/o recognition. I can't stop the hustle i just gotta keep at it.

I gave this some serious thought before submitting mine as well. I came to the conclusion that I really doubt that they will ever use my music in the future if they shouldn't choose mine for the theme. I mean, they have stock music libraries, and chances are that new shows will want specific music written for it. But hey, if they do use my music in the future and I hear it, at least I can put that on my resumé that ABC is using my composition. That's a nice plug to have.

My 3 year old nephew came up with a better tune than this by banging on a play-skool practice piano. Yours might be the worst I have heard yet.
