In 2009 the Rhode Island Tea Party entered its first float in the huge July 4th Bristol Parade. Some miscommunication caused a stir which made national news. This year the group has expanded to embrace all the conservative grass roots groups in the Ocean State. The outpouring of good cheer and applause for the Tea Party contingent along the nearly two mile parade route was awesome!

The Tea Party movement grows stronger every month. The movement has awakened formerly placid or ignorant citizens to the serious economic precipice at which America finds itself teetering. If there ever was a time in the history of our nation when good people need to step forward and run for public office, now is the time. We are all born leaders. We just don't know it until we try!

Don't you just love the "tolerant" left? Thankfully those jerks were vastly outnumbered. It was uplifting to see the support from many in the crowd who understand what the left has done to this country and appreciate the efforts being made by the Tea Party to turn things around. We got a lot of thumbs up from folks all along the parade route--even in a deep blue state like Rhode Island!
