@Bstn45 I did not say anything about songwriting. I personally like both of their music to the ends of time. Im simply saying Ted's fundamental abilities and playstyle is better than Joes. Its like saying Hendrix is a better player but Clapton is an overall better musician when it comes to technicality and things like that. Joe Perry is great i love his playing, I just think Ted can play the guitar better

@JTrut19 oh Mr. JTrut i will have to disagree. Joe Perry has written most of the successful songs that have propelled Aeorsmith to the greatest American rock band of all time. You cant so easily dismiss Joe Perry as an average guitarist to Ted Nugent. They are both great blues guitarist, but comparing Ted to Joe is apple to oranges. Joe Fucking Perry is in a league of his own. Not just commercially, Joe has written more versatile and original songs in rock. Joe is Aeorsmith, and they are ROCK.

@JTrut19 totally agree. the guy doesn't get nearly the recognition he deserves as a guitarist. rolling stone recently published their list of 100 greatest guitarists of all time. ted nugent was nowhere to be seen on that list. why? cuz rolling stone is such a blatantly biased liberal publication that they wouldn't dare put a well known conservative in their magazine for anything other than to lambast him. they would never praise a conservative for anything.
