im kinda glad they did it downtown, cause theyre not really that meany spots where they could land, unless they wanted to do it at the water front, or OHSU.. henyou got a problem of trying toget where theyre, you might be pissed about it now, cause they trained, but. i know what its like to be on te other side and have to show up to hell like that.

I am a victim of this type of harassment. Imagine hearing that over 20 times a day. There is documentation readily available on the Internet discussing the effects on individuals and the community from abusive plane sounds. That same documentation also discusses flight activities that increase the abuse level of the sound effects experienced by those on the ground below. FAA, pilot organizations, the Jeppesen pilot textbook, have written about minimizing the impact of sounds on thecommunity

@deepwater1974 Actually, I read in a book that they some times do this type of training. I even saw that the New Zealand SAS do this too in a documentary. Usually the weapons are not loaded and they don't stay there long in the area for long. They said it's used for tactical insertion training. They can't recreate crowded cities so they use actual buildings for this. I live near a base too so I routinely see helicopters fly around the area.
