  • Great instructional for parboiling CheffTodd BUT See My Video watch?v=eTk4n1uG3yY for a less traditional but more effective way to do this without the danger of over cooking the flesh or the burn potential of boiling water. when you use the torch the surface directly under the skin remains cold, It is also a great way to do Peaches and peppers although the Peppers take a tad more effort. You can call it the rootsxrocks method.

  • I don't get the seeds out, I don't mind them. Also when they are cooked for 10 seconds I put them in cold ice water to stop the cooking process.

  • nice tip, i was searching for a way to skin them cause I was about to make sauce. mmm sauce. omnomnomnom

  • Thanks for being yourself again.

  • Thank you Chef, glad to see you're back from Europe. I like how simple you explain how cooking really should be, and is.

  • Great tips!

  • That's what I do when I make tomato sauce.

  • That tomato looks like it could use a bit more plant time.
